We provide #youngpeople from deprived backgrounds access to #networks usually only afforded to middleclass #youth. Our theory of #change states that “If young people have access to better networks they are less likely to fall into anti-social behaviour and criminal activity.” pic.twitter.com/gBEZRTYHOF— LondonVillageNet (@LDNVillageNet) September 11, 2019
If you are 14 to 24, we offer you the opportunity to meet people based on your interests and requirements. Ask for one-to-one support with coursework, business planning, or filling out applications or attend group sessions learning with your peers. Adults offer time to help you.
Our relaxed environment operates with an open door policy. Attend our events to learn about your interests on a deeper level beyond the school curriculum. We provide a wider access to knowledge, which in turn strengths communities. Get in touch with your local LVN host centre to find out days and times.
The aim of the programme is to inspire and equip you with self-worth and confidence. LVN endeavour to level out the playing fields so that all young people have the necessary knowledge and skill set to navigate their way around various career opportunities.
Be Your Own Boss
Do you have a great idea for a business or a social action group but need some help to kickstart your concept? If so, LVN will help you put pen to paper. Our DIY business plan means that you can request adults to offer time to help you every step of the way.
Don’t get stuck! Ask LVN volunteers to help you with your home and coursework. Our volunteers are on hand to help you with all your education needs.
