Looking for something fun, creative and meaningful this summer? The True Cadence HAF Programme is running from 4 to 7 August 2025, and it's completely free for children aged 8 to 11 who are eligible for benefit-related free school meals. Sessions take place from 12PM to 4PM each day at Heath Park Community Centre in Dagenham, with a nutritious meal included alongside a packed programme of exciting activities.

 

This summer holiday, we’re running a special week of songwriting and performance workshops where children can explore music, build confidence and express themselves in a safe and supportive space. They'll get the chance to write their own songs, learn vocal techniques, and play with words and rhythm in ways that feel fun and empowering. Whether they’re shy or full of energy, it’s a space for everyone to get involved and feel proud of what they create.

 

The aim is simple: to give young people a space to be themselves, connect with others and try something new. And maybe, along the way, discover just how much they're capable of.
