An apprentice can be a new recruit or current employee aged 16 or over who has not already completed a qualification in a similar role.

All apprentices receive the legal apprenticeship minimum wage, but many employers choose to pay more.

As your skills develop, your pay should increase accordingly.

As a studying apprentice, you can also receive a range of travel and council tax discounts.
