The Wish Centre

The WISH Centre is a London based charity that prevents self harm, abuse and exploitation of children and young people. We are a community based trauma recovery and early intervention model, and we provide long term open ended therapy, peer support groups and outreach and digital services. We work in schools and from our Centre in Wealdstone.

The WISH Centre is a free service for young people ages 10-25 years.

A young person age 14+ can refer themselves to our support via the forms on our website.

In Harrow we provide the following support services:

  • Safe Step : early intervention and prevention of self harm and child sexual exploitation for children ages 8 -12 years. Arts based and talking therapies.

  • Safe 2 Speak : long term open ended therapy for young people ages 12-19 years who are self harming or have experience of sexual abuse or exploitation.  Young people need to be attending a Harrow school or be able to come to the WISH Centre in Wealdstone for sessions.

  • We also provide therapy for young people ages 19-25 years who self harm or have experience of sexual abuse or exploitation.

  • Self Harm Peer Support Group: Young women and female to male transgender youth ages 13 -18 years can join our award winning weekly group. You must be able to reach our Centre in Harrow by 4pm every Monday.
