Ealing Together

Working together for Ealing

Ealing Together is a collaboration between local community and voluntary groups, Ealing Council, resident associations and concerned residents that want to help.

We would like to hear from everyone who would like to get involved in helping to make the borough better, both during the COVID19 pandemic and afterwards when our communities are recovering.

Many residents already help in their local area and when restrictions start to lift, the vital community work that already goes on will be more important than ever before.

If you submit your details, you may be asked to get involved in different activities at different times such as:

  • Shopping for isolated residents
  • Keeping in touch with a vulnerable or isolated resident
  • Taking part in litter picks during your daily exercise
  • Helping to take care of a local green space or park
  • Helping to spread trusted news in the community

The COVID19 situation is full of unknowns which is why we do not have a comprehensive list of tasks. We need a wide pool of people who bring different skills and resources that can be called upon as the need arises.

Advice for volunteers

We have guidance for people on how to look after their safety and well-being while volunteering.

We have also produced a guide for community groups who want to carry out volunteering in the community

If you are considering establishing a volunteer-led food shopping/ delivery service, please read our guide.
