The London South Bank University (LSBU) Construction Academy Hub

The London South Bank University (LSBU) Hub is developing clear progression routes from secondary school through to degree/higher-level qualifications including T-Levels and degree apprenticeships. We are targeting BAME groups, women and ex-offenders into construction courses and employment opportunities.

The Hub supports specific modern methods qualifications and the enriching of existing qualifications with modern methods content. We are also promoting work placements and construction apprenticeships to residents and employers.

The Breyer QS Academy has now been established and will be running a QS Traineeship for 18-24 year olds and women. If interested/ for more information, please e-mail placeofchange@breyergroup.co.uk.
  • 8-day Budding Builders programme with The Skills Centre and Construction Youth Trust, aimed at NEET young people, combining a range of practical construction activities with employability sessions to help young people gain confidence.
  • An operations board to work on topics including apprenticeships, school engagement and job readiness to ensure the Hub is connected to what learners and employers need.
