WHAT IS A TRAINEESHIP?

A Traineeship is a skills development programme that includes a work placement. It can last from 6 weeks up to 1 year, though most traineeships last for less than 6 months. They are designed to help young people aged 19-24 who need to expand their professional skills or experience to unlock their full potential. Traineeships prepare young people in anticipation of their future career by helping them become ‘work ready’.
