An Apprenticeship includes:

  • Paid employment with holiday leave

  • Hands-on-experience in a sector/role of interest

  • At least 20% off-the-job training – this would involve you coming into the centre one day a week

  • Maths and English Functional Skills to Level 2, if you do not have GCSEs at Grade 4

  • Training and employment which develop knowledge, skills and behaviours to perform your role

  • End Point Assessment confirming and evidencing competency in nationally recognised vocational standards

Who can apply?

An apprenticeship is a great paid work opportunity for people over the age of 16 in England who are:

  • At the beginning of their career

  • Looking to upskill in their current job

  • Looking for a career change

  • Not in full-time education
