Youth Skills Boost The GSC Youth Skills Boost (YSB) Programme offers children, 7-16, the opportunity to learn new skills alongside vitally important aspects of their development.

Want to build a robot and code?

GSC’s STEM programme engages young people to take up science subjects in an inclusive and enjoyable environment.

Run during school holidays and weekends in term time, children enrolled on this programme will learn about design & technology/mobile app development where they code, programme and build a robot.

They will have the opportunity to be creative and innovative whilst also learning about critical thinking, problem solving and working in a team.

At the end of their participation they present their achievements to an audience and take the robot home.

Need help with Maths and English?

GSC offers after-school, extra-curriculum (KS2-KS4 English and Maths tuition) and personal development to support young people to achieve educational outcomes.

Run during the school term, the project offers a safe and inclusive learning environment that welcomes children of all abilities and complements the national school curriculum.
