City Gateway Women’s Programmes provide exciting opportunities for local women to gain independence, grow in confidence, access employment and develop skills in a supportive community environment.

Our Women’s Programmes Centre in Stepney is a friendly, busy place, which welcomes over 130 women each week – from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.

We provide accredited study opportunities including ESOL, maths and ICT as well as running a number of drop-in activities and courses for our learners, all in a safe female-only environment.

We’d like to help you gain confidence and build skills, no matter where you’re starting from.

Our courses include: 

• ESOL and pre-entry English
• Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT
• Employability Support
• Confidence Building & Empowerment
• Advice and Support
• Women’s Voice
• Coffee morning
• Coaching
• ESOL conversation club

Through our family support programme we also run a creche for parents with children aged 0-5, so we can look after your little ones while you’re on your course.

Within our women’s programme we run a project funded by the European Social Fund called Coaching for Potential.

This is aimed at individuals aged 19 and above.
